Mango Lassi Recipe

Fruit Smoothe Recipes

This Mango Lassi Recipe is the ultimate in healthy snack recipes.

If you are after heart healthy recipes, use fat free or low fat yogurt. This healthy fruit smoothie recipe is great for breakfast or when the kids come home from school or sport. See our other healthy breakfast recipes. Equally, this makes one of those simple dessert recipes if you have served a delicious Indian meal.


  • Easy
  • Preparation time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking time: none
  • Serves: 2 - 3 glasses
  • Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes - about 12 oz / 350g
  • 2 cups yoghurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • Method:

    1. Peel the mangoes. Cut the flesh off the pip.
    2. Place the mango, yoghurt and milk in a blender.
    3. Sweeten the mango lassi with a little sugar if necessary. If your mangoes are very sweet you won't need to add sugar. This mixture is fairly thick, so you may want to add a little more milk.
    4. Pour into 2 - 3 glasses and serve.
